Karen Emery's Chicken Soup

Thanks to Karen for submitting her favorite "soooo simple" chicken soup recipe


  • Roasted Chicken - You can buy an already cooked chicken or use leftovers from your own roasted chicken. (We recommend a Feather Brook Farm Chicken); Use mostly white meat, chopped up
  • 1 large box of liquid chic broth or two small
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 celery, chopped
  • 4 carrots, chopped
  • 2 cups egg noodles


  • Add all ingredients to a crock pot 
  • Cook close to high for couple hours till carrots tender 
  • Then add medium egg noodles maybe 3 handfuls
  • Continue to cook on high for half hour; Then simmer low for half 
  • Salt and pepper to taste
